AIM Solder Announces The Release Of NC277 Solder Paste

AIM Solder announces that NC277 is a VOC-free liquid flux that is as electrically safe as an alcohol-based flux and has a medium residue that is suitable for long thermal demands. Winner of a 2013 NPI Award from Circuits Assembly, this halide-free, environmentally safe liquid flux has upon introduction been recognized for exceeding industry standards.

NC277 can withstand the high thermal preheats required for palletized selective soldering. NC277 provides a broad activation range, proving to be an excellent flux for a variety of process parameters and applications, including lead-free wave soldering with tin-silver-copper, tin-silver, tin-copper, and other alloys. In addition, NC277 offers low post-process residues and has shown to reduce preventive maintenance requirements for spray fluxing applications. While designed to be a no-clean, non-visible residue flux, NC277 can be cleaned if critical to the product application.

NC277 passes the stringent IPC SIR 2.6.3.7 test in an air-dried state. Additionally, it has a sealed shelf life of nine months when stored at room temperature. www.aimsolder.com.
