Arkema Inc. Successfully Commissions CVD Flat Glass Process At Hebei Yingxin Glass Group Co., Ltd. In China

Arkema Inc., a world leader in glass coatings for the flat glass industry, has successfully commissioned its online CVD flat glass coating system with two multi-slot coaters for LowE glass at Hebei Yingxin Glass Group Co., Ltd.'s floatline in Shahe City, Hebei Province, China. This floatline uses the newest generation, online pyrolytic chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process developed by Arkema Inc.

The new, online CVD coating system can deposit a full range of Arkema's hard coated Certincoat coatings, including LowE, and SunLite products. "Hebei Yingxin Glass Group Co. is now in a position to help fulfill the growing demand for LowE glass in the Chinese market, especially in the northern part of China," said David Dai, Global CVD Manager for Arkema Inc.
