Mapei Showcases Its Ultimate Floor Palette At Surface Design Show 2011
Complete flooring solutions specialist, Mapei UK Ltd, will be displaying products from its resin and cementitious flooring line at the Surface Design Show 2011 taking place in February at The Business Design Centre, London. Mapei flooring solutions will be on show offering stylish, practical flooring for a wide variety of environments.
Products on display from Mapei include Ultratop and Mapefloor Systems.
Ultratop is a self-levelling cementitious floor system available in six colours. It provides the ultimate palette for finishing unique and aesthetic floors in retail, office, supermarket, restaurant and showroom settings. Ultratop has 3 finishing variations: ‘Natural' effect provides a popular concrete style finish. ‘Polished' effect incorporates diamond polishing on site and finishing with a Mapei wax for an exclusive shine. Lastly ‘Terrazzo' effect is achieved with the inclusion of Dynastone Colour aggregates available in several hues to provide a myriad of design options. It also possesses robust qualities appropriate for industrial warehouse floors that are subject to heavy loads, regular traffic and footfall.
Also on show will be a range of Mapei's resin flooring systems: Mapefloor I 320 SL Concept, an epoxy floor coating, is available in 5 colours and incorporates a highly aesthetic granular effect -ideal for commercial flooring. Mapefloor I 300 SL is a neutral coloured epoxy that can be coloured with Mapecolor Paste, a colouring agent available in 19 RAL colours, to provide both durable and striking floor finishes. Mapefloor I 300 SL is suitable for manufacturing facilities, warehouses, hotels, showrooms and domestic applications. Finally, Mapecoat I 24, a protective epoxy paint for concrete and cementitious substrates, will also be exhibited. Available in white grey and neutral, it is resistant to acids, alkalis, salts, oils hydrocarbons and solvents and can also be coloured using Mapecolor Paste. Mapecoat I 24 is popular for use in hospitals, schools and transport projects in addition to industrial use.
