Allegheny Coatings Named A 'Whitford Recommended Coater'

Ridgeway, PA - Allegheny Coatings, located in Ridgeway, PA, was founded in 1985 to pioneer the use of high-performance coatings and platings on powdered metal. In addition to its innovative coating solutions for the powdered-metal industry, Allegheny offers both low- and high-temperature vacuum impregnation sealing of PM parts.

Allegheny also provides coatings to stamping and casting facilities and fastener distributors, whose markets include the automotive, construction, military and wind-energy industries.

Allegheny Coatings' repertoire includes spray lines for large bolts, chrome-free coatings, resin impregnation and surface-finishing services.

Recognizing Allegheny's capacity, Whitford, makers of the world's largest, most complete line of fluoropolymer coatings, has named Allegheny a member of its "Recommended Coater" program. Criteria for this program include having a strict quality-control program in place, solid knowledge of Whitford coatings and how to apply them, and attendance at one of Whitford's bi-annual training sessions.

Says Steve Quinn, President of Allegheny Coatings, "We thank Whitford for this plaque and what it represents."
