New space saving design! MKD and MKT series systems are multi-station consoles designed for industrial cleaning applications on the factory floor. They are designed to minimize the use of valuable floor space and provide all the versatility and flexibility of single station MK units *see "Cleaner parts with Aqueous Parts Washing". MKD's and MKT's use fundamentals of immersion parts washing to replace traditional vapor degreasers. Flexibility is a big advantage in that these systems can be set up to accomplish a variety of cleaning processes such as wash, rinse, dry, pre-wash, double-cascading rinse and phosphating etc.
Each station is standardly equipped with a transport and vertically oscillating elevator. It automatically lowers baskets (or individual parts) into and out of the processing zone. The operator simply loads the platform and starts the cycle. The elevator oscillates during the processing steps. The speed can be adjusted for vigorous agitation (up to 240 strokes per minute) or very gentle reciprication.
Additional features and add-on's would include:
- Directional turbulence – providing a direct pressurized flow of solution to the working zone.
- Surface Sweep Oil Removal – floating oils are swept out of the washing chamber and into a remote quiet tank for later processing
- Parts Rotator – used to gently rotate components with blind holes and/or recessed areas that otherwise cannot be effectively processed.
- Ultrasonic Systems – feature dual digital cascading timers with agitation/turbulation washing and ultrasonic cleaning steps.
- Multi-port Oscillation – new feature that permits platform oscillation within different zones of the processing chamber. With Multi-port seven strokes are available to choose from each with a distinct stroke and zone of operation
- MKD and MKT Dryers – get maximum evaporation providing rapid drying without excessive heat.
- Bolt-on-plug-in Automation with Automation Ready- automatically processes baskets placed onto a loading station and can process multiple baskets at the same time.
