Looking to offer a wider range of products and services to their customers, Hoover turned to the Chemcraft product line in 2011. After nearly a year, the numbers show that 95% of Hoover’s Chemcraft sales were from new customers. The gain in new customers confirmed the vision that President of Hoover Paint, Tim Bowling, had from the beginning.

J.T. Hoover opened a small paint store in 1954. After calling on Mr. Hoover for Porter Paint Company for several years, Winston Bowling purchased the business in 1962. Starting with the one location, Hoover's now has four stores in Middle Tennessee. Hoover's serves a wide customer base with diverse products including basic house paints for homeowners and contractors, industrial coatings for local industries, and product finishes for cabinet shops and millwork companies.
