Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB)  - Michem Wood Coating 75 from Michelman is a new water based additive that penetrates wood surfaces and produces excellent water beading and anti-swell properties. When compared to uncoated wood, Michem Wood Coat 75 improves swell resistance by 80%, and extends the life and beauty of exterior wood. It dries completely clear and is typically used for outdoor wood deck and fence applications.

Michem Wood Coating 75 contains less than 100 grams per liter of VOCs and can be diluted down to 10% solids while maintaining effectiveness. It offers outstanding recoatability for improved wetout and intercoat adhesion, and can be used as a stand-alone topical wood coating or as a surface modifier.

Because it protects against water damage, Michem Wood Coating 75 also contributes to the ability to control cracking, splintering, color fading, dirt pickup, mold and mildew growth.
