The Criterion Maxima PFA Plus Process is a bright nickel plating technology that offers uniform performance over a range of current densities and operating conditions, which is due to the components that make up the process. The components are stable and resistant to dissipation by evaporation, and the nickel plating process is suitable for applications where high performance is necessary but where plating operations may be subject to long intervals of downtime between high production periods.

Deposits are white-bright, even with thin nickel coatings, and are ductile and low-stressed, making the process suitable for applications involving heavier deposit thicknesses as well. In addition, this process has been formulated to provide tolerance to metallic impurities such as copper and zinc.
