Bristle Discs for Fast Coatings Removal

3M Abrasive Systems Division Bristle Discs provide faster, more cost-effective coatings removal, according to their manufacturer. Ideal for surface scuffing before painting; cleaning; coatings removal; and stain, heavy oxide and surface contaminant removal from metal parts, these bristle discs run cooler than their counterparts, allowing them to resist heat buildup.

The discs' abrasive-filled bristles apply a continuous supply of the company's Regalite mineral to the workpiece. This uniform concentration of the Regalite mineral provides a higher cut rate than wire brushes, according to the manufacturer, providing a more uniform finish. In addition, a unique bristle pattern resists excessive edge wear to help extend disc performance. They are designed for use on electric or pneumatic right-angle grinders.
