AST Products, Inc.ima surface analysis system provides accurate contact angle surface analysis to evaluate surface conditions on a variety of parts. The system can be used to determine surface cleanliness; evaluate cleaning methods; and study adhesion, wetting characteristics, surface treatments, coatings and other conditions on many substrates. It is capable of static and dynamic contact angle measurement, advancing and receding contact angle measurement, surface energy analysis, and other measurements.
AST Products, Inc.ima system comes with a high-resolution video camera with a powerful lens system that is capable of fine image focus. Solid-state lighting and a PC equipped with a high-performance video board further refine the quality of images. The three-dimensional adjustable stage and a standard motorized syringe (on the XE Model only) provide easy setup and operation.
The system's Windows-based software product features enhanced tool bar control; Wizard-assisted dynamic image capture; Pendant Drop analysis and calibration procedures, as well as graphical data charting, easy data storage and exporting functions.
