The Model RSSA-8 is equipped with an advanced PC based motion controller that enables precise and repeatable automatic surface treatment, even when components are varied in geometry and complex in shape.

The position and motion of the blast nozzles is synchronized with servomotor driven rotation or indexing of the machine's rotary spindle, to which the component is fixtured. Guyson's motion control system is capable of tracing an extremely accurate path to maintain the specified angle, distance and travel of the blast gun in relation to target surfaces of the workpiece.

Designed to utilize any type of shot, grit or bead media for a wide variety of surface treatments, the Multi-Axis Model RSSA-8 is especially suitable for operations such as shot peening and critical surface preparation work. It is typically equipped with a pneumatically actuated sliding door at the front of the blast cabinet for loading and unloading as well as a full-depth side door for access during inspection, adjustment and maintenance.
