Portable Coating Thickness Gauge

KTA-Tator, Inc.e Elektro-Physik eXacto is a coating thickness gauge that features a user-friendly menu. The Type F model measures non-magnetic coatings on steel in a thickness range from 0 to 120 mils, while the Type N model measures insulating coatings on non-ferrous metals in a thickness range from 0 to 80 mils or 0 to 2000 um. Finally, the Type FN model features substrate recognition and measures coatings on ferrous substrates in a thickness range of 0 to 120 mils, and non-ferrous substrates from 0 to 80 mils.

The Elektro-Physik eXacto coating thickness gauge is part of the manufacturer's line of Type II magnetic flux and eddy current gauges. Measuring 6.5- × 1.5- × 1.6-in., the gauge measures to an accuracy of ± 3%.
