Powder Coatings

The 200 Series Polyester powder coatings offer an alternative to Polyester-TGIC and Polyester-Urethane powder coatings. They are available in both Tribomatic and conventional electrostatic spray grade formulas.

Typical applications include transformers, HVAC equipment, outdoor furniture, architectural products, automotive components, farm implements, playground equipment, and light fixtures.

Recommended film thickness for the coatings is 1 to 3 mils. The coatings offer a 60° gloss range from 30 to 90+, and features a specific gravity of 1.2 to 1.8, depending on color. Cure schedules range from 20-min at 350°F to 7-min at 425°F. However, schedules will vary depending on oven type, substrate thickness, and the design of the cured part.

Storage temperatures for the powder coatings should be no higher than 80°F and 50% relative humidity.
