Rockwell Increases Oscillating Tool Versatility With New Accessory Introduction

Sonicrafter F50

Rockwell® Sonicrafter®, one of the most popular brands in oscillating tools today, has introduced new, innovative accessories, along with a new line of Extended Life blades. These accessories arrive on the heels of the company’s new oscillating tools that can handle a seemingly endless array of home and shop projects that save time, effort and money.

Charlotte, N.C. (PRWEB) - Four new innovative blades have been added to complement Rockwell’s universal line of accessories:

The1-3/8" Standard Wood Plunge & Saw Blade (RW8958, $14.99) plunges, cuts and saws…all in one continuous motion. Plunge precise cutouts, or saw long, continuous cuts without needing to make several plunges.

The 1-3/8" Precision Wood Plunge & Sanding Blade (RW8960, $14.99) makes the cut…then finishes the edge with the abrasive sanding profile on the backside of the blade. It’s another handy hybrid for plunge cutting up to 1-5/8 inches into wood, drywall and soft plastics.

The 3-1/8" Carbide Grit Semicircle Grout Removal & Rasp (RW8956, $19.99) is ideal for removing broken tile. Just remove the grout…then, rasp the inset with a single blade. This multi-purpose blade provides precision control so you don’t damage the surrounding tile. It also cuts and shapes plaster, porous concrete and masonry. Plus, it can be used for coarse grinding and aggressive material removal over large areas.

The Serrated Slicer & Scraper (RW8957, $14.99) slices foam insulation panels, cardboard and more…rips carpet, roofing shingles, vinyl flooring and more…scrapes old paint, coatings, residues, hardened adhesives and more…all with one versatile blade.

An Extended Life accessory line, featuring bi-metal composition with hardened teeth for longer life, also has been added to the Rockwell accessory line. Four new blades are offered in this premium Extended Life line:

The 4" Extended Life Semicircle Saw Blade (RW8954, $19.99) is a bi-metal semicircle saw blade with hardened teeth. Use it to make linear, plunge, and flush cuts in a variety of materials such as thin wood, plastic, drywall, fiberglass, non-ferrous metals, thin sheet metal, hardened fillers and window glazing. For example, it’s particularly handy for installing electrical boxes or patching large damaged sections of drywall.

The 1-3/4" Extended Life Standard Wood Plunge Cut Blade (RW8961, $14.99) is an extra-wide, bi-metal blade with hardened teeth. Use it to plunge cut up to 1-5/8" depth in wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and hardened fillers. Cut doorjambs faster with fewer plunges.

The 1-3/8" Extended Life Precision Wood Plunge Cut Blade (RW8948, $14.99) is a bi-metal blade with precision-ground, beveled teeth for aggressive plunge cutting up to 1-5/8" depth in wood, plastic, drywall, fiberglass, and hardened fillers.
