SUR/FIN 2000: Lighter-weight Transport System

The Adroit ATH/750 model transport system is driven by a TENV 90 servo control motor operating via an aramid fiber-reinforced polyurethane belt. Its horizontal axis measures a range of travel plus 66 in. x 48 in. for the column and frame, plus the footplate. Made of polyester powder-coated steel, the system can reach speeds to 60 fpm.

The transport system's vertical access has a stroke of more than 30 in. and an operating speed of 25 fpm. It, too, is made of polyester powder-coated steel. The system's cantilevered arm is attached directly to a ballscrew via a slot in the front face of the head. For safety, there is a fixture that changes to manual operation if the end-effector/payload is obstructed. The system's power supply operates at 115V, 1-phase, 60Hz, 20 amps-per-head.
