Tin Plating Processes

Columbia Chemicalm and Colmatte Series of tin plating products are designed for tin plating applications. Colgleam offers bright-acid plating in the form of brilliant tin electrodeposits that exhibit exceptional solderability, according to the manufacturer. Colmatte Sn process is for matte tin plating applications and forms a white to gray matte finish.

Processes in Columbia Chemicalm family include Colgleam Sn; Colgleam Sn Brightener, which is used to maintain brightness in bright acid sulfate tin baths; and Colgleam Sn Makeup, which is used for both bright and matte acid-sulfate tin plating baths. The Colmatte Sn Maintenance process is the company's primary additive for matte acid sulfate tin baths.

Other processes include Pickle Pal, an inhibitor for acid pickling prior to zinc plating and Anti-Foam, a defoamer for plating processes.
