Units for Recovering Noble Metals

CYROM Recycling Units are used to recover noble metals from drag-out rinsing water and worn-out bathes.

The units recover noble metals by first depositing metal ions, especially noble metal ions, electrolytically on a rotating cathode. The deposited metal can then be scaled off later at a rotating cathode. In addition, the units achieve a high current efficiency and short deposition time with a special calculated shape of the electrodes, and an integrated controlling or adjustable system can be used.

According to the manufacturer, advantages of the recycling units include the ability to decrease metal contents in solutions from gram-range to the ppm-range, and the units also make possible residual metal concentrations of less than 1-ppm Silver and less than 5-ppm Gold. In addition, the units can provide easy scale of the deposited metal layer.
