Arcos High Nickel Alloy Withstands Corrosive Conditions

Mount Carmel, PA - Arcos Industries, LLC has introduced Arcos 803, which is primarily utilized for welding applications where superior seawater corrosion resistance is required.

Arcos 803 (ECuNi) is a covered electrode designed for the shielded metal arc welding of wrought or cast 70/30, 80/20 and 90/10 copper-nickel alloys to themselves or to each other. It is also utilized to weld the clad side of copper-nickel clad steel.

Due to its superb resistance to corrosion in seawater, Arcos 803 is well suited for desalination plant, offshore construction and marine environment welding applications.
