Source: Coating Measurement Instruments (CMI International)
Hand-held gages with microprocessor based technology provide low cost inspection for most types of coating/plating thickness.
Hand-held gages with microprocessor based technology provide low cost inspection for most types of coating/plating thickness.

Simple to use, with a compact, rugged design, the CMI 200 Series functions equally well on the shop floor or in the field. Combining eddy current and magnetic induction disciplines, these gages provide an accurate, low cost means for performing, efficient inspection of most coating/plating thickness. Measure automatically or continuously, with a scan option for uneven substrates or non-uniform coating thickness. A high capacity memory stores over 12,000 readings as well as statistics and calibrations. Readings can be time and date stamped providing essential information for an SPC program. A statistical summary for each memory location can be viewed directly on the display or readings and statistics can be downloaded to a PC or a printer
