AESF Aerospace/Airline Forum Preview: Filter Presses, Clarifiers and Sludge Dryers

Met-Chem Inc.te line of filter presses, clarifiers and sludge dryers will be displayed at the exposition. The sludge dryers are batch-style and are heated by steam, hot water, electric heat strips or are gas-fired. All of the heat sources have no direct contact with the sludge, eliminating burning and smoking. These dryers can also be mounted directly under the filter press to receive the sludge, dry it and then auger it directly into a sludge bag or hopper, avoiding double and triple handling.
