The process offers uniform and vigorous air agitation that is said to produces uniform satin nickel finishes on steel, copper, and copper alloys.
According to the manufacturer, the process provides uniformity over a wide current density range, ductility, and chromium acceptance. Finishes can be obtained from full matte to reflective bright by varying the amount of additives in the process. In addition, users of this process can achieve conversion to and from the LOCPLATE 3XL bright nickel process.
