Amtech Systems Inc. Reaches $10M In Solar Orders

Tempe, AZ - Amtech Systems, Inc., supplier of thermal processing and automation systems and related supplies for the semiconductor and solar cell industries, recently announced the company has received over $10M of solar orders since September 1, 2005, including a recent order totaling approximately $1.6M from the solar cell industry for thermal processing systems. This multi-tool order is a follow-on order from an Asian-based customer who is one of the major manufacturers of solar/photovoltaic cells in the industry, according to the company. The order is expected to ship within the next six months.
