The No. 876 is a 500° gas-heated belt conveyor oven that's used for drying brass and aluminum parts at customer facilities. Dimensions of this unit are 22 × 126 × 15 in. The workload rides through an 18-in. long open belt loading zone, 126-in. long insulated heat zone with recirculated airflow, a 6-in. long open zone, 72-in. long cooling zone, and a 12-in. long open unloading zone.
The workspace is heated by 350,000 Btu/hr installed in a modulating natural gas burner, while a 3,000 cfm, 2 hp recirculating blower furnishes vertical downward airflow to the workload.
The oven features an aluminized steel interior and exterior, 4-in. thick insulated walls, and two 12-in. diameter tubeaxial fans (each driven by a ½ hp motor to push/pull air through the cooling zone. A side oven door enables access to the heat chamber.
The oven includes a 16-in. wide B36-24-14 conveyor belt with a 3-in. high flex plate edges driven by a 1/3 hp motor with variable speed from 1.3–26 fpm.
