A proprietary electroplating process, K.C. Jones Miccrolloy Bronze deposits range from .00005 to 0.1 inches on steel and cast iron. The result is a surface coating with strength and wear characteristics that withstand severe grind and shear adhesion tests. In many cases, Miccrolloy Bronze properties are superior to solid bronze parts, allowing considerable cost savings.
The bronze plating is ideal for a broad spectrum of demanding applications where strength and wear are paramount. An excellent bearing surface, it also withstands more than a million strokes of wear on steel guide pin bushings.
