Artek Surfin Chemicals Ltdline of chromate conversion coatings is comprised of several formulations that leave finishes in a variety of colors. Kempas IR-752 produces a yellow iridescent chromate layer over cyanide and chloride zinc deposits. Kempas BL-15 leaves a blue finish by way of zinc passivation on zinc coatings for enhanced corrosion resistance.
Kempas BL-200 is a trivalent clear passivation process that leaves a clear blue chromate conversion coating, while Kempas BK-66 produces a uniform jet black finish on zinc. Finally, Kempas Olive-862 leaves an olive green finish on chloride zinc deposits.
