Nearly the same size as chemical quartz bulb chemical heaters, the new HILH Horizontal In Line Heater is designed to put performance into existing installations without the efficiency and chemical compatibility limitations of quartz. The manufacturer states that the heater enables heated chemistry in very inaccessible plant locations, chemical wet station, and R & D benches.
The heater is made with Teflon, making it suitable for aggressive hot acid or high purity pharmaceutical, biotechnology, semiconductor, and laboratory applications. It also features the patented Lufran purged heater design, which ensures long MTBF and incorporates a series of process alarms, and is rated at 180°C and 20 psi.
The heater is available for integration with the customer's process controller, making it reactive to process changes.
