Continuous Aqueous Technology for Cleaning Various Metal Components

The CAT series of aqueous cleaning systems, by Bathys Technologies, Inc., is a collection of small, self-contained units for cleaning, rinsing and drying continuous stamped components, strip materials, wire, cable and loose pieces.
Available as portable in-line, reel-to-reel and batch cleaning systems, CAT machines employ an aqueous process that utilizes hot water impingement, ultrasonic and electroclean technologies, as well as an air knife drying process. Products exit the machines completely free of contaminants, oils, fines and stains. Unlike other aqueous cleaning systems that are either fastened or hard-plumbed to the floor, this cleaning process is done in a completely self-contained unit, rendering it portable.
The CAT 1000, 2000 and 3000 systems come standard with stainless steel tanks and chambers, frames, machine hardware, drying chambers, quick disconnect nozzles and braided hose, as well as oil removal systems, liquid level controls, and insulated tanks and lids. Additionally, the CAT 3000 runs the rinse right back into a captive tank, instead of to a drain. These units have the smallest footprint of any continuous cleaning machines, so they're designed to fit within the space behind a machine like a stamping press.

The CAT 1000 is ideal for processes that already have rinsing and drying stations in the process flow. This single-chamber unit is designed specifically for the continuous coil plating industry. Employing Bathys' new unidirectional chamber design, it is impervious to product directional flow.
Bathys' smallest full-service unit, the CAT 2000, is designed for applications where space is at a premium.
CAT systems are environmentally safe and exceed cleanliness and performance specifications of the stamping, wire and cable, rolling, milling, slitting, electronics and medical industries.
