CBN (Cubic Boron Nitride) wheels are used on the most demanding precision applications requiring very hard and durable abrasives. Applications include High Speed tool steels, Die steels, Hardened carbon steels, Alloy steels, Aerospace alloys, and Hard stainless steel (400 series). CBN is highly wear resistant and thermally stable and easily grinds hardened steel parts Rc 50 or higher.
