Eco-Tec Awarded Water Treatment System Contract By KCPL

Pickering, Ontario – Eco-Tec is proud to announce that it has recently been awarded the contract for the water treatment system by Kansas City Power & Light (KCPL) located in Kansas City, Missouri for their Hawthorn Station.

This second system supplied to KCPL integrates water treatment components including two trains of filtration, single-pass Eco-RO and two Recoflo polishers which will result in a demineralized water quality of less than 0.1 µS/cm at 450 gpm. This is the second recent installation where Eco-Tec's Recoflo polishers have replaced electrodeionization (EDI) systems.
