Eco-Tec's Nickel Recovery System Appeals To Existing Clients

Pickering Ontario - Eco-Tec proudly announces the supply of two (2) new Nickel Recovery Systems. One system is to be provided to Delta Faucet in Tennessee and the other is to be furnished to Federal Mogul for their Burlington, Iowa facility. These systems represent the fifth Eco-Tec system within the Delta Faucet organization and the fourth system within the Federal Mogul company. The start-up for these units is anticipated in early November 2008.

These systems will be installed to capture nickel from bright nickel plating rinsewater in order to produce a purified, concentrated nickel solution for recycle back to the semi-bright nickel plating bath. Design considerations have been carefully implemented to ensure brighteners, degraded organics, and other contaminants are not recovered.

"With the cost of raw materials skyrocketing it makes economic sense to install our Nickel Recovery System. We look forward to continuing our long established and lasting relationships with these companies." stated Mike Dejak, Eco-Tec President.

NickelPur utilizes Recoflo, the next generation ion exchange, with compressed-bed, counter current technology. By ensuring that all salts recovered can be safely and fully recycled, the NickelPur can reduce related operating costs by over 90% and recover more than 95% of the nickel that would otherwise be lost to the plant waste treatment system.
