According to the manufacturer, the EH pump can self-prime in seconds, with no action required other than turning the pump on. The pump also features a valve design comprised of tightly guided double ball check valves that ensure a tight seal after each pulse, preventing loss of prime. A modular design enables change-out without having to replace the entire liquid end.

In addition, the pump's solenoid and pump housing are molded together (except EHE), providing a structurally sound module designed to last the life of the device. The armature is supported at both ends, which can maximize stability and increase the bearing life. The pump drive is able to pulse up to 360 strokes/min.
