The ERCu measurement probe from Fischer Technology, Inc. is designed for the measurement of copper coating thickness on laminates and multilayers without influence from the copper coating on the opposite side.

The ERCu probe uses the electrical resistance method of measurement and is designed to work with Fischerscope® Multi Measurement System (MMS®) instruments. The probe is well suited for measuring Cu coating thickness on printed circuit boards and features an easy grip handle with sighting window for precise alignment of the probe tips. The Fischerscope® MMS in conjunction with the ERCu probe and ESL08 probe for measuring copper thickness in through holes makes an ideal tool for circuit board applications. Its large, easy-to-read display provides a clear presentation of measurement results and statistical data.
