Brochure featuring New Synergistic Coatings

A new brochure describing Plasmadize coatings, which incorporate the latest developments in metals, ceramics, polymers and/or dry lubricants to form a new class of synergistic coatings, is now available.

Unlike conventional thermal spray coatings, the coatings are tough and flexible with low coefficients of friction and exceptional non-stick/release properties, according to the manufacturer. In addition, the coatings are void of surface imperfections. Available as a release or gripping surface, they may be used on all metals and are considered well suited for protecting new parts and for restoring or repairing worn surfaces.

Some of the coatings are FDA-compliant and USDA approved. They may be used in food contact, beverage and packaging applications and in pharmaceutical processing.
