The ETD3.3 eddy current coating thickness measurement probe provides excellent compensation for the curvature influence of a part's surface
The new ETD3.3 eddy current coating thickness measurement probe from Fischer Technology, Inc. provides excellent compensation for the curvature influence of a part's surface. This unique probe measures accurately on surfaces as small as a few millimeters in diameter and calibration is not needed on the given diameter.

The ETD3.3 is designed for coating thickness measurements on non-ferrous metals including aluminum used in the automotive and can fabrication industries as well as anodized coatings on aluminum. The performance characteristics of this probe make it particularly well suited for measurements on aluminum constructions with variable surface geometry, such as window shades or aluminum fasteners with small diameters. The probe is ideal for incoming inspection or applications where parts of various diameters and configurations must be measured. The ETD3.3 probe can be connected to Fischer's hand-held eddy current instruments and to Fischerscope® MMS (Multi Measurement System) type instruments.
