Produce an authentic antique patina or rust finish on any surface. Patina Green, Patina Blue and Instant Rust oxidize a surface in the same way that nature oxidizes metals exposed to the elements. Our patina and rust finishes develop in minutes, instead of centuries. When used in combination with the appropriate metallic surfacer, you can create a wide range of colors on wood, plaster, canvas, ceramic, metal, fabric--any paintable surface. These finishes are more beautiful, subtle and complex than any paint-on faux finish. Patina Green and Patina Blue also work on solid copper, brass or bronze, and Instant Rust works on solid iron or steel. Use our tinting solutions to add depth and additional color.All of our antiquing solutions will last for years, indoors or out. Surface may be sealed to protect the final finish.
