This company's Laser Processing Group provides laser cladding to the metal finishing industry
This company's Laser Processing Group provides laser cladding to the metal finishing industry. Laser cladding is a high-density process that offers several hardness ranges; various levels of corrosion resistance, low heat input, low thermal distortion, and heats only a small space on a part.

The process can be applied to stainless steels, nickel-based alloys, and cobalt-based alloys. Capable of working with complex geometries, the company can restore parts having multi-dimensional profiles and irregular-shaped components in dimensions up to 10,000 lb, 14-ft in length, and 24-in. in diameter. The 14 kW CO2 laser can also salvage worn and mis-machined parts. A CNC machine finishes the parts to final dimensions if necessary.
