Vertical motion leveling jack
The EMPCO JH Leveling Jack combines the advantages of both the wedge-action jack and vertical lift in a unique and practical design. Lifting 10 tons, this remains the mightiest leveling jack in the industry. The JH can be used either with or without anchor bolts, as required by the installation. Where anchor bolts are used, they pass through the entire jack assembly. They do not interfere in any way with leveling action. With the JH design, you achieve fast and easy alignment using only a hand wrench.

Straight up and down - There is no lateral stress or shifting with the EMPCO JH style leveling jack. It is designed to convert horizontal movement into vertical lift by means of two interfacing inclined planes. As the hex head lift screw (A) is turned, the lower wedge (B) slides forward against the inclined plane of the top plate (C) causing it to rise vertically in a smooth, positive manner.
