Automated Precision Inc and MAYA Metrix partner to deliver MAYA's Metrix Build!IT real-time measurement and inspection software with API's leading portable Laser Tracker II coordinate measurement machine
GAITHERSBURG, Maryland; MONTREAL, Canada - Automated Precision Incorporated (www.apisensor.com) and Maya Metrix (www.mayametrix.com) announced they have entered into a strategic alliance to deliver an integrated solution for using CAD part and assembly models for measurement, rapid-inspection and real-time tool building applications. Automated Precision Inc (API) will bundle Metrix Build!IT software with the API Laser Tracker II coordinate measuring machine (CMM). MAYA Metrix Build!IT software provides a real-time interface for the Laser Tracker II System. API will market and support the Metrix Build!IT product worldwide through its existing sales channels and distributors.
API's Laser Tracker II System represents the latest in laser tracker technology. API is the original inventor and developer of laser tracking systems and technology. The Tracker II is a precise, compact and portable CMM tool designed for industrial metrology use.
