Metalast International Takes Anodizing Seminars on the Road

Source: METALAST International, Inc.

METALAST International, Inc. (Minden, NV) has developed several programs to familiarize metal finishers with its anodizing process and services. Among them is the National MetalForum Program.

MetalForum seminars are held in key cities throughout the U.S.A for manufacturers that use anodizing for finishing parts and products. Metalast says its program includes discussion of aluminum, the anodizing processes and history; the anodizing industry; process capabilities and limitations; and the Metalast technology.

Metalast also intends to become more familiar with the needs and concerns of manufacturers and anodizers through MetalForum seminars. According to the company, the purpose of the program is to

  • Provide an overview of general anodizing processes
  • Explore the needs, issues and problems encountered during the anodizing process as experienced by the particular group in attendance
  • Discuss the Metalast technology and explain how it may solve the problems experienced by the target group
  • Provide a feedback forum from participants to discuss their research needs and to invite them to join Metalast in sample and R&D support, joint development and program participation

Designed for those involved in general management, manufacturing, engineering, quality and purchasing, the session presentations serve as a sort of mediator or facilitator of discussions regarding the problems, concerns and potential solutions to problems between manufacturers and anodizers.

Metalast decided to take their show on the road in November. By reaching more people directly, the company hopes to entice potential customers to submit samples and to visit their innovative Minden, NV Tech Center (for more information on the Tech Center's capabilities click here).

Metalast plans to hold its next MetalForum during the month of June in Detroit, MI, U.S.A. For more information, contact the company at 2241 Park Place, Minden, NV. Phone (775) 782-8324; Fax (775) 782-2498; Website: www.metalast.com.
