New Extrusion Welding System for Higher Weld Strength
We recently purchased a state-of-the-art thermoplastic extrusion welding machine manufactured by Munsch Kunststoff of Ransback, Germany. This microprocessor based welding unit eliminates the need for multiple pass hand welding when manufacturing large industrial fabrications form sheet stock 0.375" and thicker. By producing a large cross-sectional area weld bead with a single pass, material oxidation in the heat effected zone is minimized resulting in superior weld strength and tensile strength properties.
