Plating Barrels
HI-CAP POLYPRO plating barrels are designed to increase the productivity of the company's automatic-hoist barrel plating machines. These cylindrical barrels are formed from a single sheet of 0.5-inch thick, stress-relieved polypropylene. The one-piece design eliminates many of the joints common to hexagonal barrels. In addition, the barrels' cylindrical shape offers a greater surface area with perforations for a larger open area to carry current.
The barrels' simple design also integrates them with drive heads and gear ends, eliminating idler gears. The barrels also feature the company's closure system, which securely fits the barrel doors into a recessed "lip" and locks them with a large polypropylene nut. No clamps or straps are needed.
