Production-Scheduling Computer Control System
The system includes equipment that may be needed for future applications (i.e. additional hoists, tanks, etc.), and does not have to be purchased ahead of time to figure out the line design. The system also supports an extensive parts database that provides all the data required for optimized scheduling, inventory control, and precise amperage calculation.
The system is capable of processing different "recipes" and plating times with mixed optimizing or free scheduling algorithms at the same time. In addition, odd lot quantities can be dealt with efficiently because four different part numbers can be processed on a workbar. The company says the computer calculates the aggregate amperage of the parts and sets the power supply automatically.
The product can also help companies in their maintenance and reporting endeavors. It offers extensive fault diagnostics and maintenance, a user-interactive text for multi-shift, multi-person maintenance staff, a maintenance prompt that alerts the user to equipment servicing, chemical dumps, etc., and a rapid station lock-out if required for defective equipment. A shift report-list of all part numbers processed during a shift, event reports, and fault-tracing features are also part of this system.
