Radial Arm Spray Gun Oscillator

The Iontech RAM radial arm spray gun mover offers a larger coverage area per spray gun, smoother and more uniform deposition between spray gun areas, and enhanced part penetration in automatic spray finishing applications. The radial arm oscillator is designed for use with both powder and paint spray guns.

The oscillator employs a sliding pivot block innovation that permits an individually adjustable pivot radius for each gun mounting arm, providing gun location flexibility, individual stroke length adjustment, and individual angle of attack to the target workpiece.

The manufacturer states that arc movement of the gun tips mounted on the device imparts a low velocity "throw" action to the coating particles while avoiding the addition of higher velocity compressed air propellant.

The device features a heavy-duty structural steel construction with a low center of gravity. In addition, the oscillator's crank arm design can provide instantaneous direction reversal with a smooth continuous action, according to the manufacturer.
