Founded in 1915, with the vision of a company that could provide solutions to the most difficult coating problems. Steelcote has been providing the industry with many innovations throughout the years. Steelcote was the first company to incorporate rubber into paint and to apply an epoxy floor coating in the United States.

Other Steelcote innovations are products like "Damp-Tex", the first coating that could be applied to a damp surface or "Epo-Mastic DTO", an epoxy primer that is designed to work on an oil contaminated surfaces. The "MCU 2100 Type IV", is another innovative product. This coating has "316 Stainless Steel" as it's only pigment. Steelcote is continuing this great tradition of innovation with products like our "Floor-Nu System". This is an epoxy system that is engineered for application to floors with less than ideal conditions.
