SUR/FIN 2000: Scrubber for Steam Damping Fumes

The type TG-S1/20 scrubber has a one-piece PVC or PP plastic construction. Depending on the plastic used, fumes are eliminated at a maximum temperature of 50°C (PVC) and 80°C (PP). The equipment features a tank, holding water, or solution that facilitates the steam damping of the fumes. A vertical plunger centrifugal pump with filter recycles the water or solution. The fumes are then washed and backwashed using nebulizers and by passing through a filler pack.

The washing solution is separated from the treated fumes by a condensate separator. In addition, the liquid level in the tank is "topped up" by a solenoid valve featuring correct automatic levels.
