ThermaCell Appoints New President
ThermaCell Technologies, Inc. (Daytona Beach, FL) has appointed Peter Thomas president of the company. He replaces John Pidorenko, former president and director, who tendered his resignation early last week.
ThermaCell manufactures paints, coatings and building materials for a variety of markets. They have recently introduced VaxCells microspheres, which provide greater insulation, protection, strength and longevity in paints, according to the company.
"I have guided the company through difficult times to assure the completion and beta testing of our exciting VaxCells product line," Pidorenko said in a statement. "It is now time to hand the baton to a seasoned management team that will ensure the exploitation of VaxCells to its maximum commercial potential."
"The opportunity to participate in the growth of ThermaCell Technologies with its new and exciting products is both opportune and timely. By providing the necessary capital, our investment group can accelerate the introduction of these innovative products to broad markets to significantly grow the company's revenue base," said Thomas in a company report.
Pidorenko has agreed to provide consulting services to the company to assist in the transition of its new management team as well as to advise the company in marketing and promotion of new innovations. Gerald Couture, vice president of finance and a director, will serve as chairman to the board of directors.
