U.S. Spray Foam Customers Set To Benefit From BaySystems And Construction Polymers International Agreement
Pittsburgh, PA - Bayer MaterialScience LLC announced recently an agreement between its BaySystems polyurethane systems business and Construction Polymers International (CPi), a leading provider of spray foam equipment and turnkey systems, under which CPi will offer parts, equipment, spray foam rigs, and related technical support for BaySystems spray polyurethane foam (SPF) customers in the U.S.
For BaySystems SPF customers, the agreement translates into a one-stop shop for their equipment and service needs. These customers will be able to realize faster and more efficient parts delivery and support – with no interruption in service – and also have the added convenience of being able to turn to CPi for their standardized and custom-built spray foam rig needs. It is the first time BaySystems has been able to offer this type of service to its SPF customers.
The arrangement leverages the strengths of both organizations, according to Renee Zierden, general manager of the BaySystems SPF business in the U.S. "We will continue to do what we do best; producing customized solutions based on our proven polyurethane experience," she explained. "At the same time, our customers will have access to equipment from CPi, a leading supplier in the spray foam equipment and services market. Simply put, this gives our customers the best of both worlds."
Jack DeMita, CPi chief operating officer, said, "This agreement offers great synergy and enables both CPi and the BaySystems SPF business to concentrate on our core expertise. We are proud to be affiliated with Bayer MaterialScience LLC and look forward to providing its customers with exceptional service and support." DeMita added that CPi has recently opened a facility in Phoenix to better serve local BaySystems customers.
