The VORTECH Series Powder Coating Booth is designed to deliver the industry's most versatile and flexible color changing and recovery system. Employing advanced VORTECH Color Change Technology from ITW Gema, the VORTECH booth features both mini-cyclone and cartridge collection assemblies for simple no-hassle conversions. The system eliminates the need for duct work, dramatically reducing installation complexities while increasing color-change convenience. The VORTECH provides a simple, compact, dual-option recovery unit that connects directly to the booth, minimizing space needs and diminishing potential contamination concerns. The VORTECH works effectively for both manual and automatic spray operations to provide maximum color change versatility in a simple, yet technologically advanced, design.
The VORTECH utilizes the power of mini-cyclones for powder separation. These mini-cyclones are by design easier to clean and perform more efficiently than large body cyclones. By ensuring that air flow is evenly channeled through the proprietary inlet veins of the VORTECH's mini-cyclones, a wide range of powder types and particle distribution strategies can be managed. The cyclone module clamps to the side wall of the booth enclosure and is mounted on casters to enhance portability. The base of the unit contains a steep wall drop-out section that facilitates the transfer of the powder back to the reclaim hopper for respraying.
