Wastewater treatment systems use electrocoagulation technology to effectively remove contaminants from the wastewater stream without the use of chemical reagents
Kaspar Wire Works, Inctreatment systems use electrocoagulation technology to effectively remove contaminants from the Kaspar Wire Works, Incstream without the use of chemical reagents. Passing water between two surfaces charged with a direct current does this. This allows hydrogen and oxygen to react with the chemical contaminants in the wastewater, causing reactions that remove the contaminants altogether. Then, plate material is released into the Kaspar Wire Works, Incto combine with the contaminants. This produces a stable sludge that passes TCLP leach testing for RCRA metals if necessary.

The advantages of this system are many. First, there is no need to segregate wastes, saving space, time and costs. It also covers a wide pH range. The concentration of metals in the effluent is significantly lower and the use of less reagents in the process reduces sodium, sulfates and chlorides in the effluent as well.
