Zinc Plating Brighteners for Cyanide and Non-Cyanide Applications

The Lustra-Zinc CCZ-4023 for low, conventional and mid-range cyanide applications allows brilliant and lustrous zinc deposits from rack and barrel plating applications as well as eliminates burning problems. Because it uses low-current density power, plating of irregularly shaped parts is allowed.

According to the manufacturer, the product is highly effective in conventional high-cyanide and dilute mid-cyanide baths. In addition, the liquid addition agent can accept any conventional chromate post treatment from blue-brite to olive drab. Additional products are available for low-cyanide baths, and mid- and high-cyanide baths operating at higher than normal temperatures.

This product has been developed for alkaline non-cyanide baths. It is ideal for plating parts that have deep recesses due to its low-current density covering and throwing power. It also holds up at high-current densities, making it suitable for parts that require thick deposits or post-plate shaping and/or crimping.
